Arts Access Victoria have released ‘Music Makers’, a report covering a series of research studies exploring barriers to access in the music industry.
The report calls for awareness, representation and education. Four keys points of access for the industry to improve on:
- Great physical access within venues and music spaces
- Better management of noise levels in both venues and rehearsal spaces
- Funding for AUSLAN interpreting at events
- Accessibility of online platforms
